As Connecticut’s first Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH), we empower students to graduate with a high school diploma and an Associate in Applied Science degree in as little as four years—without the cost of tuition.
At the same time, they’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in high-demand STEM fields.
Academics
P-TECH Norwalk offers a unique educational experience that blends high school coursework with college-level classes in fields such as Software Engineering, Mobile Programming, and Web Development. Students work toward both a high school diploma and an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree, graduating debt-free with the credentials to excel in college or the workforce.
Our integrated curriculum connects academic subjects to real-world applications. For example, a computer science project might incorporate writing components, helping students see how different disciplines work together while building critical skills for their future careers.

Spotlight: IBM Summer Internships
As a part of our partnership with IBM, students can apply and interview for the chance at a full-time, paid summer internship at the IBM Corporate Headquarters in Armonk, NY.
During the summer of 2024, 60 P-TECH students completed the internship. Each day, interns were transported to the office, where they worked on their main project for the summer: solving problems in the community using AI.
After graduation, those who have completed the internship will have the opportunity to interview with IBM for a full-time position, right out of high school.
